Spencer Kellogg

Spencer KelloggSpencer is a Colorado Springs native who graduated from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in May 2014. Her journey through college started with a major in Art, but after some exploring Spencer found that she loved social media and communications. This ultimately led to a degree in Communication with a minor in Visual Arts. It was a long journey, but it resulted in her landing a dream job at Hope & Home which truly encompasses her stengths and passions. Spencer is a firm believer that things happen for a reason and her discovery of Hope & Home was only proof of that.

Spencer has grown up working in the nonprofit world as a volunteer for several organizations throughout Colorado Springs. The fast paced, hardworking atmosphere that she loved about those nonprofits has come full circle in her job at Hope & Home and has made it an even better fit for her. Additionally, children have always played a big part in Spencer’s life from working in her church nursery to nannying for several years during college. She is excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Hope & Home family by playing a positive role in the lives of kids in foster care.

Spencer is an avid animal lover and when she’s not working she is likely spending time with her several rescued dogs. She loves to hike and explore new parts of Colorado but also doesn’t mind a lazy day catching up on every season of any show.
