Northern Colorado Home Supervisor
After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2006 from Colorado State University, Courtney worked at a therapeutic residential child care facility with youth that had committed sexual offenses. She took some time off to travel the world and then returned to CSU to complete a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2010. She transferred her experience with youth and background working in a domestic violence shelter during college and graduate school and began working at an organization in Longmont as a youth counselor and dating violence prevention educator in middle and high schools. She and her husband lived in Costa Rica for a brief time before returning to Colorado. Courtney continued her work as a domestic violence advocate at a shelter in Denver before taking time off to be with her family.

She joined Hope & Home in 2016 as the Northern Colorado Home Supervisor. She is excited to be working with Hope & Home foster families in Northern Colorado and is based out of Fort Collins to better serve these families. Courtney is a twin mama and a master multitasker. She enjoys riding her bike around town, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family. She’s a Colorado native and loves traveling the world. She has been to over twenty countries and cannot wait to explore more, near and far.
