A New Kind of Kinship License
Thanks to new legislation in Colorado, kinship parents and caregivers with an open DHS case are able to become licensed in order to receive financial support. Hope & Home is here to help you not only become licensed, but provide caring support and friendly expertise along the way.
Get Licensed Quickly
All VIP Kinship families receive Expedited Application Services, helping you get licensed in as little as 30 days. Every day a kinship caregiver waits to become licensed, they lose a minimum of $30/day and as much as $180/day (depending on the ages and number of children placed in their care). Plus, you’ll get a designated Licensing Specialist whose only job is to help make licensing as quick and easy as possible.
Flexible Education
Education is provided through our state-of-the-art DaVinci Learning System. 100% online and always on-demand. DaVinci meets all of your licensure and ongoing education needs in one place, featuring over 70 specialized classes. Some agencies may require you to take time off work to attend trainings, but with Hope & Home’s flexible online education you’re able to take high-quality (and dare we say, fun!) classes wherever and whenever.
A Built-In Community
Join in on an online support group or a virtual coffee club meet-up; attend live workshops and retreats; explore the Zoondoogle factory; receive credits for practical supports like beds, clothing, school supplies, and so much more; and attend tons of unique, special events — all totally free to you!
Here for You Outreach
Outreach means 24/7 support every day. Hope & Home’s outreach team includes your Home Supervisor, Hope Worker, Family Care Coordinator, and Support Group Leader. These staff and volunteers help you every step of the way. You are never alone.
