Home Supervision Manager: Denver & Northern Colorado

Full-Time 40 hours per week

The Home Supervision Manager supports the clinical and programmatic activities of Hope & Home through their supervision of Home Supervision staff.  Hope & Home emphasizes importance on training, guidance, and support provided to foster families, which is accomplished directly through the Home Supervision Department. Home Supervision Managers are responsible for the overall efficacy of the department and duties carried out by Home Supervisors. Home Supervision Managers will work as part of a team and each manager may have individualized and specialized tasks suited to their strengths within the framework of the team.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervision:
    • Manage a caseload of home supervisors, providing ongoing supervision through weekly or bi-weekly individual meetings
    • Work along with other managers to facilitate weekly group supervision
    • Ensure home supervisors are compliant with all department policies and procedures
    • Supervise and approve all monthly reports completed by home supervisors
    • Facilitate ongoing training for the department as scheduled/needed or directed
    • Provide guidance to home supervisors in interactions with outside team members
    • Supervise the recertification process for families in accordance with all rules and regulations and SAFE
    • Meet with staff and families as needed for family and placement preservation
    • Meet with staff and families as needed for family retention
  • Reporting and Paperwork: 
    • Report all Critical Incident Reports to the State as required
    • Complete Issue Certificate forms and Provider Closure forms for renewals, moves, and closure foster homes and submit them to the State 
    • Work closely with staff to ensure all family and child records are complete in accordance with all rules and regulations
    • Ensure home supervisors are completing required annual training
  • Other:
    • Meet and collaborate with other managers and their direct supervisors to ensure all standards are met in accordance with all rules and regulations, as well as agency missionMeet as a statewide manager team at least monthlyParticipate in bi-weekly supervision with directorWork in office setting dailyParticipate in on-going trainingCollaborate with counties to facilitate and oversee the ongoing placement of children into licensed agency familiesParticipate in Hope & Home activities and events as specified by supervisorComplete on-call duties as assigned by rotationOccasionally carry a caseload of families, if needed, and meet the roles and responsibilities of a Home Supervisor with those families

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in social or behavioral sciences
  • At least 3+ years case management experience
  • Supervisory or management experience, clinical supervisory experience preferred
  • Driver’s License with good driving record, this position requires driving throughout the greater Denver and Northern Colorado region
  • Ability to pass background checks
  • Ability to work in-person in the office setting each day and be available for staff and families

Pay and Benefits: 

  • $62,000 per year
  • Paid time off accruing immediately upon start of work and useable once accrued

  • Enrollment in 401K after working at least one year and 1,000 hours, beginning the quarter following eligibility (must be 21 years of age to participate)

Please Note: Hope & Home’s benefit package is contributory; that is, you are responsible for a portion of the premium for your benefits. A portion of the premium, up to a maximum per month, is contributed by Hope & Home. Your contributory cost is deducted from your paycheck.
