Thanks to our generous, committed, and passionate community of financial donors, Hope & Home is able to scholarship every single family we approve to become licensed foster parents. That’s a $6,000 value, free of charge to you.

Support Groups with Free Childcare

When Hope & Home foster families are asked about the key ingredients to their success, support group is usually at the top of the list. And with free trauma-informed childcare available for every single one of our groups, there are no barriers to accessing this invaluable resource.

Teens in foster care often struggle with self-esteem and confidence when trying to get their first job. Jericho Java is all about changing that. Teens are trained how to make craft coffees on a real espresso machine during Support Group nights. This equips them with practical job skills and gives them the opportunity to take pride in a craft—all while making a few bucks along the way!

Your Very Own Four-Person Support Team

Hope & Home is the only agency to equip foster families with, not one, not two, not three—but four people to surround you throughout your foster care journey.

Your Home Supervisor is a Child Welfare professional whose job is to help you navigate the world of foster care. They are your shoulder to cry on, your listening ear, and your resident industry expert.

Your Hope Worker is the person who will bring clothing, carseats, and a hot meal to your doorstep. They are also your support group and special events liaison—keeping you connected to all the Hope & Home happenings.

Your Care Coordinator keeps your file in check, helping navigate paperwork, education requirements, and compliance with Volume 7 rules and regulations.

Your Support Group Leader is someone just like you who has a little more experience under their belt. They will also be the leader for your monthly “homeroom” support group.

24/7 Phone Number

Hope & Home actually has two phones that are answered 24/7, 365 days-per-year. Our emergency phone is always manned by a staff member who is ready to provide guidance and support in the midst of emergency situations. The placement phone is manned by a team of four on-staff specialists who are experts on all our foster families and current “openings.” One of these staff members will be the person to call you with a potential “placement.”
